Gurley Hall & Robison Common Arch

Russell Sage College|Troy, New York
The Gurley Building houses academic classrooms and faculty offices. In the 1960s, the granite and brownstone facade was seriously compromised by a contemporary window system and distressed original brownstone arches. In 1999, the exterior was renovated to recapture and restore many original features. We designed The Robison Common Arch to evoke the historical details of the original fencing (designed and fabricated by local iron master Edward Beebe).
