architecture+ provided planning and design services for the renovations of the concession stands at the Times Union Center. The stands had not been updated since the facility opened in 1990 and were tired and dated.

Modernized and improved
The architecture+ team worked closely with the Times Union Center management, Aramark, and Albany County representatives to evaluate existing conditions and develop design solutions to modernize and improve the functionality and efficiency of the stands for the food service operators and the patrons. The sleek new appearance integrates new signage, lighting, and attractive yet durable materials. Food service equipment was carefully arranged to support the service model and is integrated into the millwork. This multi-prime project was phased so that operations and daily activities could be maintained during construction.
