Health Science Center OT/PT Lab Renovation

Russell Sage College|Troy, NY
With a long-standing legacy in educating health professionals, Russell Sage College set out to create a dedicated Health Science Center that would bring its programs together under one roof. The initiative began with relocating the Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) labs from Manning and Scrimshaw Halls to the more suitable Paine and Science Halls. Originally envisioned in the Campus Master Plan by architecture+, the Health Science Center took shape through the transformation of existing laboratory spaces; three in Paine Hall and two in Science Hall into modern, purpose-built OT/PT learning environments.

"We’re excited to widen the reach of our highly respected programs in physical and occupational therapy, and we want to support students and faculty in those programs with facilities that enhance learning and mimic the professional clinical environment. These renovations will support enrollment in those fields and our other health sciences programs, which are areas of high workforce demand, in the years to come."
