Sacred Heart Parish Center

The Center incorporates both secular and sacred spaces and complements its neighborhood of small wood-frame houses. Programming requirements included religious education classrooms, meeting rooms, a lounge, kitchen facilities, and a day chapel. The building is configured to reduce its mass and to screen a large social hall at the rear. The stone chapel and patio create a symbolic link to the stone of the existing church across the street.
