After completing her architectural and interior studies, Nastaran sought to broaden her design knowledge to create more impactful environments for users. She brings a strong foundation in human-centered research and design stemming from her extensive academic practice and research. Notably, she developed an innovative tool to assess the physical environment of Emergency Psychiatric Assessment, Treatment, and Healing (EmPATH) units as part of her thesis work. Nastaran’s valuable research insights in evidence-based design are poised to enhance the design of our mental health projects.
