New Fire Station
Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation|Coeymans Hollow, NY
architecture+ provided planning and design services for a new fire station for the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation (CHVFC). Their existing station was deteriorating and no longer met the requirements for delivering safe emergency services. Working with the Building Committee, we evaluated renovation options alongside new construction solutions; ultimately, a new facility was selected. The team supported approvals and permitting and completed the design for the replacement station.
Following demolition of the original building, a new five-bay station was constructed. The expanded facility enabled CHVFC to add a new truck to its fleet and provided additional space for support and emergency operations. Site improvements included separate entrances for emergency vehicles and member/community parking.
