Anthony Garner’s experience ranges from Project Architect responsibility for feasibility studies, planning and programming, schematic design and design development, to construction documents and construction administration.

Throughout his career he has continuously worked on project design for the New York State Office of Mental Health (NYS-OMH) and has been the lead architect for all of the NYS-OMH security initiatives beginning in 1996. His knowledge and experience of NYS-OMH security design requirements is unmatched. He was instrumental in developing the NYS-OMH Security Standards, Specifications, and Administrative Protocols. He recently presented a one-day security workshop as the primary security system designer for a NYS-OMH project that educated the facility staff about the security systems technology available to them as a part of the project design. This activity was highly successful and allowed the administrative, clinical, and support staff to customize the security technology that has been incorporated into the project.
