The Center houses a new science and academic program. We served as Associated Architects on this project with Bohlin Cywinski Jackson. The 25,000 square foot, $3.4 million building was situated to minimize disturbance to wetlands and maximize sunlight and scenic views. The facility maximizes social and intellectual interaction and integrates lab space with general classrooms. There are labs for biology, chemistry, ecology and physics that double as seminar rooms. The Center also features a greenhouse, research labs and offices. A 60-seat auditorium boasts multimedia and computer network connections at each seat.
