Sage Hall

The Sage Colleges

Troy, New York

Sage Hall, built in 1895, is one of the three original buildings on campus. Although its design was altered after a disastrous fire in 1916, it is still an example of the best materials and workmanship of the late 19th century. The building serves as the campus' primary student residence.

We restored the building to its post-fire appearance by carefully cleaning grime from the rare yellow brick exterior. We conducted extensive composite patching to the brownstone to restore original details and recreated the entry steps in a reinforced concrete mix designed to mimic brownstone in every detail.
