Union College House System

The five renovated buildings are part of a "House System" initiative implemented at Union College to provide students with shared social and academic spaces. This initiative reallocates college-owned buildings for use as student residences. Buildings had been previously used for fraternity housing, administration and office space. As consultants to Sasaki Associates, we were responsible for the design of three of the five buildings and on-site construction administration for the entire project. The  interiors and exteriors were renovated to create contemporary spaces that blur the line between the social and academic lives of students.
