Frear Building
Troy, New York
The historic Frear Building was built in 1904 by internationally known retailer, William Frear. We were commissioned to perform extensive interior and exterior renovations to this long neglected building. Every effort was taken to minimize the intrusion of new on old so as to maintain architectural integrity. Wide-open floors and ingenious conduit layouts make the building adaptable to ever-changing technology.
Today, this grand building serves as state-of-the-art computer intensive office space and training facilities, and is testimony to the lasting benefits of preservation.
