Defreest Building
North Greenbush, New York
This 1720s frame house now serves as headquarters for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Technology Park. We renovated the building, which was severely damaged by fire, by salvaging handmade bricks and recreating heavy timber structural elements to match original timbers.
