Leonard of architecture+ receives accreditation

architecture+, a design and service oriented architecture and planning firm in Troy, New York, is pleased to announce that Alison G. Leonard, Assoc. AIA, of Troy, New York, has received EDAC™ accreditation (Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification). Evidence-based design is the process of basing decisions about the built environment on credible research to achieve the best possible outcomes. Since 2000, it has become an integral component of modern healthcare design. Ms. Leonard, who holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Roger Williams, joined us in 2008. She that time she has worked on a variety of projects for healthcare and education clients including planning and design for both the West 5th Street Campus and St. Thomas Tertiary Psychiatric Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario, and projects for the Office of Mental Health in New York.
