Design Excellence Award

architecture+, a design and service oriented architecture and planning firm in Troy, New York, has received a Design Excellence Award from the Eastern New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The award is in recognition of our design for the New Administration Building on the Hudson Valley Community College Campus. This three-story, 43,000 square foot building is in the core of the college campus and houses all of the administrative offices, as well as seven classrooms. Comments from the award jury refer to the project as having "a strong, clear plan concept which greatly enhances the campus."
