Concourse D/Security Checkpoint

The Albany International Airport security screening area was designed before the current security standards were adopted. As a result, the available space was not adequate. architecture+ was selected to design the expansion of the security area to ease congestion and reduce delays. We increased number of security lanes from four to six to increase the speed through security and to accommodate new TSA equipment.
