The town had outgrown its existing facility but wanted to remain collocated with other town services. We worked with town officials to site the new facility on the existing parcel with improved access and visibility from the road. We worked with state officials to maximize the building’s energy efficiency, making it eligible for state Energy Research and Development Authority grants.

We designed the building to complement the local architecture of this rural community. The building structure exposed in the lobby features glue laminated lumber. The town court, executive offices, tax assessor, and other town offices are located in the new town hall. The interior is organized so that visitors can easily identify and access town offices, personnel, and services.
